Birkenhead

Three of our surveyors headed out to Birkenhead recently to conduct structural engineering surveys prior to sewer reconstruction works being carried out on behalf of United Utilities.

The surveys comment on the existing structural condition of properties, identify visual evidence of structural anomalies to the wall fabric, monitor pre-existing cracks, and assess the vertical and horizontal alignments.

The assessment of condition is based on BRE Digest 251 “Assessment of damage in low rise buildings” (1995).
